Coldwater party raises money for a local cause

Coldwater residents who are looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the community are in luck, as a fundraising party is being planned in town.

The Second Annual Tommy’s House Soiree will open its doors to registered guests this May as a way to bring the Coldwater community together and raise funds for a local charity. The evening will be a fun setting inspired by the glamorous nights in Hollywood. Guests will enjoy dinner, mocktails, and live music and entertainment from start to finish.

A curated silent auction will also be held to provide attendees the opportunity to leave as a winner while contributing more to the cause. All food items are naturally gluten free. Print shops are a fantastic resource for host venues and planners, allowing them to create single-use recyclable Menus for such events. Vegetarian meals will also be available; guests who would prefer them are asked to reach out in advance.

The money raised will support Tommy’s House, which aims to provide safe housing, transportation, food, and practical support for local women who are rebuilding their lives.

The soiree will be held at Coldwater United Methodist Church on Marshall Street in Coldwater. It is set for Saturday, May 9, at 5:00 PM. Tickets cost $50 per person online, and spots are limited.
