Learning conference prepares Reisterstown students for future

Students in Reisterstown will have a unique opportunity next month to enhance their prospects of finding well-paying work, as a learning experience is scheduled in town.

Hire Me: A Hands-On Job Skills Intensive has opened enrollment to area high school and college students who want to learn more about marketing themselves and being more appealing to potential employers. The workshop will last three hours and covers several beneficial topics, including the interview process, resumés, and learning how to network.

The workshop is being organized and led by Kathryn Adabonyan, a career coach, and Lena Dobovaya, an entrepreneur and educator. The two women will use their experience to provide attendees with real-world skills that will guide them to the jobs they want after graduation. Brochure printing can help organizers present more information to attendees, allowing them to retain more information and get more value from the workshop.

Students who attend will leave with proven techniques for applying for jobs, hands-on job interview practice, and an hour-long session that focuses on enhancing each student’s resumé. The instructors will also provide students with mindset tools to identify and pursue opportunities with greater clarity.

The workshop will be held on Tuesday, November 12 from 4:30 to 7:30 PM at 114 Westminster Pike in Reisterstown. Seats are limited and cost $299 per student.
