A hands-on crafting experience will soon be on offer in Danville, and those who participate will be making a work of art they can be proud to display.
Registrants in the KY Floral Mosaic Workshop will be showing their Kentucky pride when they make a mosaic shaped like the state itself. The completed piece will be 16 inches in size, and the registration fee is $65 per person.
Each attendee will receive a wood cutout that will serve as the base for their mosaic, and there will be a variety of ceramic and glass tiles to choose from. Full instruction will be provided, and to help make the activity even more relaxing, those aged 21 and up will be treated to a mimosa supplied by Murrini Café, with a non-alcoholic option also available.
A crafting class may be both fun and calming for the attendees, and they can use the skills they have learned to craft other projects on their own. A flyer printing company can prepare materials that help to keep the public informed about activities on offer in their area.
The Art Center of the Bluegrass at 401 W. Main Street will be providing participants in its mosaic workshop with an opportunity to show their Kentucky pride on Saturday, February 28. It will begin at 5:00 pm and continue until 8:00 pm.
