Danville families are on the guestlist for a local celebration that will mark USA’s landmark year.
The city will be pulling out all the stops for its annual fireworks show, and the plans for the day include lots of other fun. There will be activities on offer for all ages, and the festivities will get started in the morning.
The day will begin with Paint the Park, which is offered thanks to support from the Art Center of the Bluegrass. In mid-afternoon, the bounce houses, food trucks, and face painting will open, and a corn hole tournament will take place in the early evening. Blue Groove will supply the entertainment starting at 6:00 pm, and this will be followed by music by Michael Fly and the Sound. The fireworks display will wrap up the celebration as the sun goes down.
When choosing decor for a special event like this, planners often turn first to local banner printing companies. They can supply an assortment of services and will be happy to meet with clients in person to discuss their project.
Danville is set to celebrate the USA’s 250 birthday on Saturday, July 4 with its Fireworks Show and Family Fun Day set for Millennium Park. It runs from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm, and a full schedule of the activities planned can be found on the city’s website.
