Summer concert series takes to the stage
The Rockin' in the Park weekly concert series is kicking off in a couple of weeks in Rosemont.
The season will start off with a Hawaiian-themed pub crawl. There will also be a concert by Johnny Russler and the Beach Bums, a Jimmy Buffet cover band.
The concerts will take place each Thursday evening. They will feature a variety of cover bands including Final Say, Dick Holliday and the Bamboo Gang, American English, and Generation. There will also be food and beverage tents at each event. Each concert will end with a fireworks display. As with the start of the season, the series will conclude with a pub crawl in September, and this time the theme is the 1980s.
No doubt visitors from all over, including nearby Hoffman Estates, will want to make the time to attend at least one of the concerts. So that they know about the series, organizers might be investing in services such as flyer printing to get the word out in the community.
