Hoffman Estates has lots of fall fun in the works, and a series of Open Houses hosted at local firehouses are on the agenda for the month.

Each year, the Hoffman Estates Fire Department kicks off Fire Prevention Month with open house events at its fire houses so the public can see how they operate on a day-to-day basis. They will also emphasize steps everyone can take to keep themselves safe, and all ages will be welcome.

Each of the sessions will include the chance to meet firefighters and give them a tip of the hat in person, and advice on fire safety will be shared. Everyone can sit in one of the firetrucks to get an insider’s experience, and an obstacle course will present a challenge for those wishing to put their physical ability to the test. A fire pole will be on hand to slide down, and live demonstrations, a vendor and community service group area and other fun are all in the works.

There are a variety of ways to promote a local event to the public, and a banner printing company will have a range on offer. These run from lawn Signs to full size reusable pop-up Banners that may be easily stored when not in use.
