A Hoffman Estates tradition is set to make its return, and the local business community has been invited join the list of companies that will be taking part in the fun.
The date has been set for the 2026 Community Fishing Derby, and South Ridge Lake will welcome the anglers. There will be an assortment of cash and their prizes up for grabs, and all skill levels are encouraged to participate. Food and drinks, as well as bait, will be on offer, and no fishing license is required.
Hoffman Estates businesses and those from the surrounding area that would like to get involved in the Derby can choose from a list of options starting at $500. The Get Hooked Vendor booths can be reserved for $175 each.
While many event sponsorship programs incorporate opportunities to supply financial support, there may be other ways to participate as well. These might include the donation of Corporate Gifts in kind to present to competition winners, or to be used as raffle prizes on the day.
