Show aims to educate new parents

Pregnancy, Baby and Toddler Expo Chicago is being held this May in Schaumburg.

There is expected to be much at this show for those who are expecting, or have just had, their first baby. Everyone through the door will receive a swag bag filled with samples and freebies while supplies last.

There are set to be seminars on topics like preparing for a new baby and water safety for infants and children. There will be toddler activities in the Kids’ Corner, a beautiful baby contest, face and bump painting, a diaper dash, and character appearances. There will also be contests such as ‘Shake your baby booty’ and ‘daddy's playyard race’.

Author Amy Logan will be signing Copies of her book ‘Girl with a Cape’. There is also an Infant Care Center for diaper changes and feedings. Vendors will be on hand to sell a variety of baby and infant-related merchandise.

New parents from all over the Chicago area, including those from Hoffman Estates, will no doubt wish to attend this event. To help spread the word, local Print companies may supply advertising materials like Flyers.

The Pregnancy, Baby and Toddler Expo is being held at the Marriott Schaumburg on May 17 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Tickets are $5 in advance or $10 at the door. Call 630-202-3620 for more information.
