Martini mixer on deck near Hoffman Estates

A Hoffman Estates area event will see mixologists putting their martini crafting skills to the test to raise money for local kids.

The Daily Herald has organized a “mix off” for area bartenders, whose goal will be to craft the best martini. They will be showing off their talents in a live event that will end with one of the competitors earning the title to show they are the ‘Best in the ‘Burbs’.

Those who would like to cheer on the mixology experts are welcome to purchase a ticket, and they are on offer for $15 each. These will grant entry to the venue, and allow the holder to sample the martinis, and enjoy the appetizers and other small bites that will be passed around. There will also be raffles, and the entertainment for the function will be provided both by live entertainers and a professional DJ, with a portion of the proceeds to be donated to an area not-for-profit group.

To help make the occasion even more memorable, the organizers will be distributing goodie Bags to each ticket holder. Items like these can be filled with a variety of branded Promotional Products, which can be sourced from a local printers.

This event, which will set the bar for martinis in Hoffman Estates, has been planned for December 10. The doors will open to the audience at 5:30 pm, and it will be held at 871 Algonquin Road in Schaumburg.
