Those looking to make the most of the summer will be pleased to know that the annual Party in the Park is taking place in Hoffman Estates very shortly.
Entertaining offerings during the day will include a food tent, entertainment, games and crafts for children, music, and dancing. A performer for young attendees will be making an appearance, and there will be a Frisbee competition featuring dogs.
Featuring various contests and activities for everyone, the evening will finish off with a free concert. Those who attend may want to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.
Tickets will be sold for some games and activities, and for food and beverages. In past years, the party has also featured a petting zoo and a beer tent.
This should be a fun event to celebrate the middle of summer and to get the family together while the kids are out of school.
