As another summer prepares to draw to a close, Hoffman Estates residents will be able to get rid of any recyclable materials that have been piling up in their home.
The community's Public Works Center will be accepting items for recycling, and documents will also be destroyed. Not only can be an important step in home security, but it is also a good turn for the environment.
According to the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County (SWANCC), all items intended for disposal can be dropped off at any time during its three-hour runtime, and it is only open to residents in communities served by the SWANCC, so IDs will be checked. The organizers have also reminded that it is for households only, meaning schools, businesses and institutions will need to make other arrangements.
