Hoffman Estates sets date for recycling day
Each year, Hoffman Estates does its part to help the planet by ensuring recyclable materials don’t end up in a landfill, and all community members are encouraged to take advantage of this offer.
Hoffman Estates Village Hall will see a recycling depot drop off point set up in late August, and it will be open to the public for three hours. This location had to be moved for this year, and it was explained that this change was due to construction at its usual spot.
The organizers of the activity explained that both e-waste recycling and document shredding services will be on offer and financial and other support for the day has been provided by the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County. Only those served by the agency are welcome to take part, and IDs will be checked. The listing for the function explained that it is for households only and schools, businesses and institutions cannot be accommodated.
A recycling event or other clean up activity is often part of a community's comprehensive sustainability plan. A poster printing company can help to raise public awareness about an event, including how, when, and where people can get involved
The annual Hoffman Estates Recycling Event is scheduled to begin at 9:00 am on August 24th. Items can be dropped off until 12:00 pm. The event’s organizers can be contacted by phone at 847-490-6800.
