Hoffman Estates is about to undergo a “digital detox”, and everyone is encouraged to join in the activity.
A Saturday in July has been dubbed” Unplug IL Day”, and Hoffman Estates is one of the communities that has signed on. The celebration is scheduled for South Ridge Park, and will run for three hours.
The plans for the day will see the attendees enjoy nature based fun, and there will be a variety of interactive, screen free stations to visit. A Bubble Show courtesy of TwistiCity is in the works, and the younger attendees can try their hand at the Ninja Course Races with prizes awarded. Kids Yoga and ABC Mindfulness have been scheduled, and Free Fishing lessons, an obstacle course, splash pad and cold treats thanks to Kona Ice will round out the celebration. It will be a drop in style event with no registration required.
Community events give neighbors a time to come together and get to know one another in a spirit of fun. A poster printing company can work closely with organizers to ensure they have the marketing and other materials they need while still keeping track when it comes to their budget.
South Ridge Park will be the location for this day of digital detox scheduled for July 12th. The fun will start at 10:00 am and continue on until 1:00 pm.
