Hoffman Estates will be getting in one last summer celebration when it brings the annual Platzkonzert Germanfest to the community's Village Green.
The three-day schedule set for the gathering includes music, food, drinks, and fun, and the beer will be flowing. There will be a variety of activities and all ages are on the guestlist.
The festival will showcase local entertainers on its main stage, and the official keg tapping ceremony will be performed by the city’s Mayor and Trustees. There will be several friendly competitions, and a makers’ market, children's area, German-style dancing, a costume contest and dachshund races are all on the agenda. Parking for the activity will be on offer at 5450 Prairie Stone Parkway.
