A Hoffman Estates course will soon see golfers tee off for a day of fun in the sun, and while they enjoy the experience, they will be supporting programming for disabled members of the community.
Special Leisure Services Foundation (SLSF) believes disability should not be a barrier to joining in the fun of organized sport, and to help make this happen, it will be hosting its annual Bridges of Poplar Creek Golf Outing. The day will open with check-in and a breakfast meet-and-greet, after which play will begin with a shotgun start. Lunch and dinner will also be served after the morning of golf.
Tickets include the 18 holes of golf as well as drinks and all three meals, and all monies raised will be used to support initiatives that make recreational activities accessible to all, as well as scholarship programming.
As many people enjoy playing a round of golf, these fundraisers often prove to be successful. Printing services companies can provide everything from printed balls to towels, water bottles and other Corporate Gifts printed with a function’s Logo Design.
The Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club is set to see players enjoy a day of activity fun during this fundraiser on Wednesday, May 10. Check-in and breakfast will open at 7:30 am, and tee-off time is 9:00 am.
