Hoffman Estates golfers invited to include local event in their plans

In Hoffman Estates, the final weeks of summer will include an area event that will raise monies to be used to support programming for local adults and children living with Down’s Syndrome, along with their families.

Golfers who take part in the 5th annual GiGi's Playhouse Golf Outing and Banquet will be treated to a day out on the links with a meal of brick oven pizza and gelato to follow. It will be held on a course that is of a Jack Nicklaus signature design, and has recently undergone a multi-million dollar upgrade.

The plans for the function include an atomic air gun shoot, as well as a helicopter ball drop and signature drinks. There will also be bourbon tasting and several other activities that have been chosen especially for the occasion.

Tickets for the outing start at $300 per golfer, and an assortment of sponsorship packages have also been made available to any companies or groups that would like to lend a hand to the day. A printer’s graphic design department will be able to provide a wide variety of marketing materials for an event like this, which can aid in ensuring it meets or exceeds its fundraising goals.

This late summer opportunity for golf lovers to do a good turn while enjoying a day on the links will be held on August 27 at the Wynstone Golf Club. More details and a chance to register can be found on the Hoffman Estates Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s website.
