An initiative that provides hope for those going through cancer treatment will be hosting a fundraising event near Hoffman Estates, and a full slate of activities has been planned for the occasion.
During Toast to Hope Wine and Beer Tasting, guests will be invited to sample the more than 35 different beers and wines that will be on offer, and both appetizers and dessert will also be served. There will be time to mingle and socialize, and guests will also have an opportunity to learn more about the organization and what it does.
Along with the drinks and food, a silent auction has been planned. Attendees can bid on everything from wine baskets to massages, and a wine pull is also on the agenda. Entertainment will be on hand for the evening, and there will be other activities as well.
The event is open to anyone who is age 21 or over, and it will be held in Barrington's White House in Barrington. Early bird tickets, which are available until April 30 are $25 each, and the price for admission will go up after that date.
