Members of the local Smith-Magenis Syndrome (SMS) community and the general public alike are welcome to come to an event that will soon be taking place in the Hoffman Estates area.
PRISIMS, Inc., which is a group that provides both information and support for families with a child living with SMS, will be hosting its ABC fundraiser. The occasion is open to the whole family and will include a variety of activities.
Those who attend the afternoon will be able to take part in an even split style raffle and silent auction, and a wine pull has also been planned. Appetizers will be served, and there will be other activities on the agenda as well. The proceeds will be used by PRISIMS, Inc. to help fund the various initiatives it offers, and according to the organizers of the function, last year’s ABC event was able to raise over $7,000.
Tickets for the occasion are being sold both ahead of time and at the door. They start at $25.00 for adults and $15.00 for kids who are 12 and under. This includes both a drink ticket and food, and also a chance to win the $100 raffle prize. Flyer printing for a community event like this can be provided by a local printer.
This fundraiser will be held on April 29 at iPic South Barrington. Anyone who has questions has been asked to contact drasmussen@prisms.org.
