Hoffman Estate residents who are undertaking a household spring cleaning project may want to reserve a space in an activity all about turning unwanted items into cash.
The city has scheduled a Community Garage Sale taking place at the Seascape Family Aquatic Center, offering opportunities for buyers and sellers alike. It will kick off in the morning and run until the early afternoon, and it may provide an opportunity for neighbors to come together.
Each person who Books a spot will have enough space for their vehicle as well as a table and chairs, which they will need to provide themselves. It will open to sellers an hour ahead of the public for set-up, and anyone who has unsold items to donate at the end of the day may contribute up to one bin or box of items. Both in-district and out-of-district individuals are welcome to reserve a spot, although a discount is available to locals.
