The 1st Heart at the Barn gala is taking place this month in the Hoffman Estates area. It is a fundraiser for Young at Heart Senior Pet Adoptions.
On the day, several dogs that are available for adoption will be in the hay loft. The recommended dress code is casual, and a Western theme is encouraged to go along with the venue. Guests will enjoy beer, wine or soda, hors d'oeuvres, dessert, and music provided by Accoustic Generation.
Those who would like to take some Western style home with them can also bid on items such as art, photographs, and ceramics in a silent auction, as well as pose in the photo booth and buy raffle tickets.
Pet lovers from all over the area, including nearby Hoffman Estates, will probably be interested in knowing about this fundraiser. Organizers may advertise with Flyers purchased from local printing companies to let the community know it is coming up.
Young at Heart Senior Pet Adoptions is an animal shelter for older dogs and cats. Its goal is to rescue and rehome these pets as well as educate the public.
