Family circus returns to Hoffman Estates

The Circus Spectacular from the Carden International Circus is coming to Hoffman Estates for three days next month.

The Circus is affiliated with the Shrine Circus, which raises funds for Shriners children’s hospitals in North America.

As with all circuses, there will be plenty of events going on that should appeal to people of all ages, like acrobatic performances, high-wire acts, clowns, and stunt athletes of all kinds from all over the world. There will also be performances involving animals such as tigers and elephants, and guests will also have the opportunity to ride the elephants.

There will be several pre-show activities before each show that will help get people in the mood and souvenirs will be available for purchase.

There are set to be six performances of the circus over the three days: on Friday at 7:30 pm, Saturday at 10:30 am, 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm, and on Sunday at 1:30 pm and 6:30 pm.
