The bond between a daughter and the significant male guardian in her life can be very special. This connection will be nurtured and celebrated during two Daddy Daughter Dances, which will be held near Hoffman Estates this February.
Elgin’s Heritage Ballroom will be hosting the festivities, and since its organizers feel they will be popular events, two different sessions will be held. Both daddies and daughters are invited to dress in their favorite fancy outfits and to be prepared to make some memories of a special time together.
Guests at the function will be treated to a dinner, which will be served buffet style. There will be music to dance to, and a photo booth will be on site so that each group can capture some pictures of the fun. The adults and children alike will have their name entered into a draw, with the girl winning an American Girl doll and the dad also being presented with a specially selected prize.
Even though the function may be called a ‘Daddy Daughter Dance’, grandfathers, stepfathers, uncles, and other men who play a significant role in a girl’s life are welcome.
