Event showcases fashion while helping local youth

The 29th annual Fashion Show from the Kenneth Young Center is taking place next month in nearby Streamwood. It is the main fundraiser for the Center.

The theme of this year’s show is ‘Imagine the Possibilities’. The event will start off with cocktails and a chance at networking, as well as an opportunity to learn about the work the Center does in the community. This will be followed by lunch and the fashion show. There will also be basket and split-the-pot raffles and a silent auction, and all guests will also receive a souvenir program to take home with them.

Sponsorships are available from $300 up to $5,000 and auction items are also being accepted. Sponsors will be recognized in the program, as well as on all Print advertising.

The Kenneth Young Center is dedicated to providing lifesaving services for people of all ages. It includes a positive youth development program, mentoring services, hospital pre-screenings, and a drop-in center for youth.

The event will likely attract people from all over the area, including Hoffman Estates. It is likely Flyers or Posters will be distributed to help spread the word.

The Fashion Show will be held at The Seville in Streamwood on November 4 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Tickets are $50 each or $60 for premium, and tables of 10 are available. Tickets must be purchased by Wednesday, October 18 and half of the cost is tax-deductible. For the most current information, contact Fran Geraci at 847-524-8800 x103.
