Celebrate the Fourth with the family

The Northwest Fourth Fest will take place at the Sears Center Arena Gardens on July 4 - 8. This is a presentation of the Village of Hoffman Estates, partnering with other local areas. This is a free event and those who attend are asked to bring a donation of non-perishable food. There is a charge for unlimited carnival rides, with a wristband from July 5 - 6 costing $12 per day and $25 from July 7 - 8.

There will be lots of activities to help families celebrate the Fourth of July, including a bike parade, a TNZ magic show, face painting, carnival rides, bingo, a diaper derby, pony rides, a pie-eating contest, a water balloon toss, cultural entertainment, cooking demonstrations and music from groups such as the Ambassadors, Diamonds and Kings, Survivor, and an Abba salute. There is also a parade which will take place on July 4 beginning at 9:00 am and will travel down Hassell Road. Those taking part in the parade will be judged and can win several awards depending on category of float or participation. Later on July 4, there will be a fireworks display starting at 9:30 pm.

Organizers of the Northwest Fourth Fest will most likely be working with Hoffman Estates printing companies to prepare for the celebrations. They will no doubt be providing banner printing, flyer printing, and poster printing services.

Everyone loves a celebration and especially one that begins on the Fourth of July. The Northwest Fourth Fest has something to appeal to everyone in the family.
