The Northwest Fourth Fest is returning to the area again this year for five days. It is presented by Hanover Township, the Village of Hoffman Estates and Hoffman Estates Park District.
The festival features a carnival, an arts and crafts fair and several fireworks demonstrations. There will also be two parades on July 4th: the Children’s Bike and Trike parade that will begin at 8:45 AM and will travel along Hassle Road and Huntington Boulevard and the main parade which has the theme of “Celebrating Everyday Heroes” will start at 9:00 AM on Hassle Road.
Musical entertainment will be provided over the five days by groups such as Arra, Infinity and Generation. There will also be plenty of activities for children including a petting zoo, face painting, pony rides, a climbing wall and balloon animals. In addition, there will be contests such as a water balloon tossing contest and a Diaper Derby for children under the age of 24 months. Other activities include a bicycle auction.
Hoffman Estates poster printing firms are often asked to help advertise annual events such as this one.
The Northwest Fourth Fest will be held from June 30 until July 4 at the Sears Centre Arena each day from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Admission is free but ride tickets are extra. Visit the official website to learn more.
