Themed dinner brings Gurnee residents closer to nature
A themed dinner is set to take Gurnee residents into a ranch setting for a comfortable meal and cozy experience, with the event set to begin next month.
The Evening on the Ranch dinner event will offer Gurnee residents and couples a romantic dinner setting. Attendees will have an opportunity to cozy up near the fire while enjoying ranch staples paired with local wines.
The event’s centerpiece for wine drinkers is the Wine of the Month, Horse Heaven Hills, produced in Washington. The meal will consist of cornbread, followed by a campfire flatbread of shaved beef and garlic-parmesan cream and BBQ spiced short ribs. The dessert will be peach and blackberry hand pies with vanilla ice cream. Printing services are ideal for creating customized menus to display all food and beverage options at such events.
Additional drinks and cocktails will be available from off the menu, as will other wine options to alter the pairings. All guests at the event must be 21 or older, and reservations will close for the dinner 48 hours before its beginning.
Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurants will host the ranch-themed dinner on Tuesday, August 20. Doors will open at 7:00 PM, and the event will conclude at 10:00 PM. Interested parties can make reservations online, and one ticket will cost $79 per person.
