Gurnee residents will be able to take a course in digital marketing, thanks to technology and online learning.
Tech Training Solutions is offering a 35-hour course in Advanced Digital Marketing. The course will cover basic concepts, as well as moving on to more advanced subjects such as SEO (Search Engine Optimization), SMM (Social Media Marketing), SMO (Social Media Optimization), and many others.
Handouts from instructors, training materials, and access to resources located on the cloud will be provided. In addition, instructors will lead hands-on exercises drawing on scenarios that occur in real life. The course will allow students to become experts in digital marketing by teaching them marketing technologies and tools, branding, sales, and tracking and reporting metrics to measure success. Tips on how to manage LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and other social media platforms is also included. In addition, a discussion on the difference between digital marketing and its traditional counterpart is an important part of the course. The only prerequisite is basic knowledge of how to search the internet and use a computer.
The course will be offered over a six-week period, starting March 2, 2021, and running until April 8, 2021, Each session will be 1.5 hours in length, and will be held every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 9.30 am until 11.30 am, Central Standard Time. When students register, they will find a good example of logo design on the website.
