Gurnee school to put together childrens shopping spree
The Country Meadows Montessori School in Gurnee will be holding a holiday shopping event for kids in December.
The Holiday Shopping Spree is a fun activity for children where they can pick out gifts for their family members at a festive market created by the school. Families will donate potential presents that are appropriate for fathers, mothers, and siblings. Students will be given $3 from their parents to purchase gifts at the event, which will all cost $1 each. The items picked out by the child will be wrapped and labeled for them to bring back home.
The Country Meadows Montessori School is an educational institution where children are valued as individuals and taught with hands-on materials that nurture their enthusiasm for learning. The school offers programs for kids aged from 15 months to 14 years old. Grades are not assigned to students at the academy.
