Gurnee raises a glass for annual beer event

Beer enthusiasts and community supporters are looking forward to the return of the annual Legions of Craft Beer Fest, which is gearing up for its sixth edition.

Hosted by the Gurnee American Legion Post 771, this year's festival promises a day of craft beers, culinary delights, and live entertainment.

Born in 2015, the Legions of Craft Beer Fest has blossomed into a cherished tradition, raising funds for Post 771 and the Lake County Honor Flight. Beyond the multiple beverages present, craft beer fans and other attendees will also embark on a tasting journey of different preferences of wine, ciders, specialty cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks such as sodas.

The festival will offer diverse food options for attendees too. Multiple food trucks will line up to offer an array of cuisines, and live music will be part of the entertainment. Organizers of festivals like this can use banner printing to spread more awareness among residents of Gurnee and its neighborhoods.

General admission tickets are available online at the official event website, priced at $40, with door purchases costing $50. Designated drivers can join the festivities for $10, encouraging responsible enjoyment.

The festival is slated for Saturday, September 9 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The Gurnee American Legion grounds, located at 749 Milwaukee Ave, Gurnee, will host this festival.
