Welding course to be held in Twin Falls

A beginner welding course is to be held in Twin Falls this September.

The course titled “Introduction to Welding” offers participants a comprehensive introduction to welding, its basic history as well as its uses within the region. The 30-hour Stick welding training course is being offered by CSI Workforce Development & Training in the Magic Valley.

With a focus on addressing the current shortage of skilled welders, this course provides a basic introduction to Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) techniques. Students will learn how to safely set up and use welding equipment, perform welds on carbon steel joints, and gain foundational knowledge of welding theory specific to SMAW.

Attendees will also benefit from over 20 hours of hands-on welding demonstrations and have the option to prepare for the welding qualification exam offered by the American Welding Society. For those seeking to expand their skills in the welding industry, this training offers practical knowledge and a chance to qualify for relevant certifications.

The cost for registration will be $499. Registration will be available on the event’s listing through the organizer’s website.

Printing services can be a great way to design a more interactive course for learners at events such as this one.

This course will take place from September 7 to October 6 at the CSI Desert Building. This is located at 315 Falls Avenue, Twin Falls Idaho. Classes begin at 6pm and will end at 9pm.
