A Vero Beach organization wants its kids to go back to school and sports in good health, and it will be giving families an opportunity to access low-cost physicals in their home community.
The Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) has scheduled a full day of appointments for school physicals for students in Indian River County. Sports physicals will also be available.
To help keep the day running smoothly, parents or guardians are asked to book a timeslot in advance, and they will need to bring a valid ID as well as proof of their residence in the county. To thank the families, the name of each student will be entered in a raffle draw for a backpack filled with school supplies for their upcoming classes.

The team at VNA will be rolling into the Emerson Center with its low-cost mobile clinic on Saturday, August 2.
