Twin Falls welcomes return of butterfly release

A Twin Falls program will pay tribute to lost loved ones, while at the same time being a celebration of hope and life.

Hospice Visions, LLC has set the date for its 13th annual Love Butterfly Release, which will take place in Orton Botanical Garden. Anyone interested is asked to reserve their butterfly in advance.

During the release, the butterflies will take to the sky, and volunteer assistance will be available if required. Keepsake programs will be prepared for the occasion, and the names of those being honored can be included if desired. Each participant can reserve one butterfly per honoree, and they have been asked to include the number of people in their party when they sign up. The gates of the Garden will open an hour ahead of the activity’s start time, which will be 10:00 am.

The organizers of the function have said that there is no donation required, thanks to the generous spirit of its community partners. Stationery printers can custom design certificates of thanks to present to businesses and groups that step forward to sponsor an event.

The 13th annual Live Butterfly Release will be held on Saturday, June 14 at 867 Filer Avenue West in Twin Falls. A full listing for the activity, including a registration form, is available on the organizer's website.
