Twin Falls to host first community holiday read
Charles Dickens' “A Christmas Carol” has become a holiday classic, and a Twin Falls event will offer a new twist when it comes to enjoying this popular book.
The Twin Falls Theatre Collective and the Twin Falls Public Library have teamed up to bring the city’s first ever community reading of the story to life. It will be read from start to finish, and it will give locals the opportunity to get involved.
Book clubs, families, and other groups are all welcome to take part. All levels of readers who would like to get involved will be invited to read a portion of the story, and those who would prefer to sit back and listen may do so instead. Each reader will be assigned a specific timeslot, and they are welcome to wear a costume festive attire if they wish. Treats and beverages will be served, and anyone interested in finding out more about the reading is asked to call 208-733-2964 ext. 208.
Communities across the country have special activities in store for the winter holiday season. A poster printing shop can help to build the buzz about an upcoming event.
The Twin Falls Public Library will be welcoming readers and audience members for its first ever community reading of “A Christmas Carol” on December 7. The story will begin at 2:00 pm.
