Twin Falls talks ethics

The Idaho REALTORS will be putting on a course called “GRI 102 - Professional Standards - Ethics; Risk Reduction” this June. The event instructor will be Rick Harris.

The program covers the National Association of Realtors Code of Ethics and its enforcement while offering practical training in identifying, managing, and mitigating risks within the industry.

The course, called "The Crossroads," examines ethical obligations in everyday real estate scenarios, the practical application of the Code, dispute resolution between clients and realtors, and the process for upholding professional standards among realtors.

The "Real Estate is Risky Business" section will provide students with the necessary tools to avoid and perceive common risk factors when completing transactions, such as inadequate disclosure, negligence, and misrepresentation. Participants will learn specific skills needed to proactively safeguard the interests of clients.

The cost to attend the course is $250. If a refund is needed, attendees have until 30 days prior to the event date to request one. To get answers to questions individuals can email or call Amanda Pannel at apannell@idahorealtors.com or 208-342-3585.

Brochure printing is a great way for instructors to provide additional information to attendees of courses such as this one.

The dates and times of the event are Thursday, June 8 to Wednesday, June 9, from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. The location will be at Western Magic Valley Realtors at 1162 Eastland Drive North #1, Twin Falls.
