Small businesses form the backbone of the Twin Falls economy, and both current owners and those considering taking the plunge of starting their own company may want to attend an upcoming training event.
Region IV Development and the Idaho Small Business Development Center will be offering an event that will see Rob Atkins discuss the ins and outs of financing from the perspective of a smaller establishment. It will help to clarify the process of securing funding streams, and those who participate may find it easier should they need to apply for a loan.
The workshop will address several topics related to financing, and will open with tips for getting prepared before heading to the bank. Attendees will learn what questions may be helpful to ask lenders, and the types of loans available will also be addressed. The significance of cash flow and managing risk are both also on the agenda.
Many business owners find it helpful to continue learning throughout their working life. Workshops provide the chance to do this, and many organizers of these events hand out promotional Pens and other premiums to participants.
Rob Atkins will be taking to the podium for this in-person session on Wednesday, August 7. It will open at 6:00 pm at 315 Falls Avenue. Tickets for the hour-long session are $25 each.
