A ladies-only event that will take aim at cancer will bring Twin Falls women together to celebrate and help fund a cure, and the organizers are hoping it will include lots of laughter and friendship.
The Twin Falls - Tough Enough to Wear Pink dinner and social session will see the community's ladies treated to a sit-down dinner and other fun. Tickets must be purchased in advance, and those who do not reserve a table will be seated first come, first served.
The guests at the function will be waited on by "cowboys" from the community dressed in pink hats, shirts, and Wrangler jeans. While they sip, savor, and socialize, they can view the items on the block in the live auction. A raffle is in the works as well. There are various ticket options to choose from, and they are expected to sell out well ahead of time.
To help maximize the impact of the activity, the planners have put together a sponsorship program. This starts at the “food sponsor” level, and many include having the supporter’s logo added to the Corporate Gifts distributed to the attendees and volunteers.
This event planned with Twin Falls leading ladies in mind will run from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Thursday, October 16. The venue is located at 215 Fair Avenue in Filer.
