Twin Falls, Idaho will host a charity-themed 5K run this December. The event aims to provide children with toys and gifts for the holiday season.
The event is titled the 'Santa 5K Run/Walk'. Patrons are invited to run for a cause at an event held at the Canyon Rim Trail. The trail is a popular hiking spot for outdoor lovers, covering approximately 12.6 miles in total. Patrons can expect lots of natural sights to see along the course, such as the waterfall.
This event is ideal for those looking to give back this Christmas. The cost of registration for each person is a toy or a cash donation to Toys for Tots, which is a Marine Corps program geared towards providing toys to children who would be unable to get them otherwise. Registered persons can check the website for details of their packet pickup.
This year's charity run is sponsored by MaVTEC. Banner printing is a great way for organizers to congratulate participants at events such as these.
This 5K event will be held on Saturday, December 4th at 10:00 am, and begins at MaVTEC trailhead at Poleline and Eastland, Twin Falls, Idaho.
Those interested are welcome to register on the Idaho Running Company's website via its event page. There is no cost apart from the donation to Toys for Tots.
