The Small Business Development Commission (SBDC) in Twin Falls will host a seminar this February.
The seminar will focus on small business owners, specifically those who are just starting a business. It will cover topics such as business plans and their importance in long-term success, as well as the basics of business regulations and taxes. This event is ideal for those that want to increase their knowledge of common business practices. The seminar will also allow participants to freely voice their queries.
The speakers for the seminar will be Bryan Matsuoka, Irene Gonzalez, and Gordon Meyers, who are from the SBDC, the Small Business Administration, and the Idaho State Tax Commission respectively.
The training will last for three hours over the course of one day. It will be delivered on the Zoom platform, which allows participants flexibility during the session. Those pre-registered will receive the Zoom meeting link 24 hours before the event.
Pre-registration will cost $45, while those registering on the day of the event will attract a fee of $65. Those interested can register on the SBDC website. Business card printing can be useful for people seeking exposure at events such as these.
