Twin Falls gets a Peking performance

The Peking Acrobats will be performing in Twin Falls this January. The sponsoring company will be First Federal.

For over three decades, the Peking Acrobats have reshaped how people see acrobatics as performed by Chinese performers. They showcase stunts, demonstrating skills in trick cycling, precise juggling, tumbling, gymnastics, and somersaulting. Their performances showcase contortion, control, and flexibility. Accompanied by musicians playing cultural Chinese instruments, their shows combine ancient Chinese music, acrobatics, and present-day special effects, creating a spectacle reminiscent of a carnival of Chinese descent.

Since its establishment in 1986, this group has appeared on various TV shows and specials such as Nickelodeon’s Unfabulous, That’s Incredible, the Really Big Show, and the Ring in the New Year Holiday Special. They've also been on HDNet’s Television in Focus series and appeared regularly on NBC and Comcast.

The cost for adult attendees will be $40, or $32 for students. Tickets can be purchased through the College of Southern Idaho listing, or they can be bought in person at the box office or via phone at (208) 732-6288.

Poster printing can be a great way for organizers to advertise events such as this one.

The date and time of the event will be Wednesday, January 17, starting at 7:30 pm. The location is Arts on Tour, 315 Falls Avenue, Twin Falls, Idaho.
