Twin Falls event to foster community engagement

Twin Falls government agencies, civil servants and other public employees keep the community humming along, and a sneak peek event will offer residents the chance to learn more about what they do.

This year will see the 3rd annual Community Engagement event on offer in mid-June, and the meet and greet is open to all ages. It will be a hands-on experience, and Twin Falls City Park has been chosen to host the gathering.

The function will see first responders, representatives of not for profit groups, government agency leaders and other spokespersons on site for three hours, and many will bring their equipment along with them for the attendees to explore. The public can ask questions and raise any concerns they have, and it will also provide an opportunity for anyone interested in a future career with the participating employers to find out more and possibly make helpful connections. The contact person for the activity may be reached via email at Brooke.Thompson@labor.idaho.gov.

When getting ready for a community engagement activity, many organizations prepare by ordering Business Cards and Promotional Products ahead of time. These will be available at a local printer along with other customized marketing materials.

The 3rd annual Community Engagement event will be taking place in Twin Falls on June 15th. It will be on offer at 400 Shoshone Street East.
