An event that commemorates the life and service of combat veterans will be held in Twin Falls this July.
The name of the event is the Annual Vietnam Ride and Barbecue, and it celebrates those who served during the Vietnam War. It offers patrons an exciting motorcycle ride, followed by a community barbecue. The motorcycle ride will have stops along places such as the Magic Valley Veterans Cemetery, and the Vietnam Memorial in Jerome. There will be a third stop at the National Cemetery, before attendees return to the final location to enjoy the barbecue.
The event comes as an initiative from Hospice Visions, a local company specializing in providing care and supportive services to those with a limited life expectancy. This event is one in many such commemorative events hosted by the organization.
