Idaho foundation to host charity walk

The Make-A-Wish Foundation Idaho will host the Walk for Wishes Magic Valley at the Twin Falls Visitor Center next month.

The Foundation is a non-profit organization set up in 1980 to fulfill the wishes of critically ill children between the ages of 2½ and 18 years old. The Idaho chapter makes wishes come true with the help of grants, corporate sponsorships, individual donations, and special events. In June, it granted 13 wishes, including a shopping spree and a trip to Hawaii. As well as bringing them happiness, the organization says granting the wishes of children helps them to fight their critical illnesses.

Walk for Wishes Magic Valley acknowledges all the wishes granted while raising funds for future endeavors. Those interested in taking part can sign up online and invite family and friends to support and raise over $100 per team. Registration begins at 9:00 am on the day of the event and the walk starts at 10:00 am. There is no registration fee, but participants are encouraged to register early.

Banner printing is a great way for organizers to provide information about fundraisers like this.

The event will be held on Saturday, September 24, at 2015 Nelsen Point Place in Twin Falls, Idaho 83301. Those interested can visit the website or event listing for more information or to register for the event.
