Competitive Twin Falls event to help with housing

A group that works to make sure everyone has a place to hang their hat has organized a fundraising outing, and its planners hope it will be a fun day for all who take part.

Habitat for Humanity of the Magic Valley’s “Hammer Down for Homes” will be a day of friendly competition held at Canyon Springs Golf Course. The organizers are still accepting sponsorship applications at the time of writing.

The activity will open with a shotgun start, and once the players have wrapped up their game, they can head to the clubhouse for lunch and to take in the helicopter ball drop. The winner will split the proceeds with Habitat for Humanity, and a silent auction, skill testing contests, and a hole-in-one car prize will add even more excitement.

Though intended to be fun first and foremost, the event also has a higher purpose, as it will help to fund housing in the Twin Falls area. Its organizers are therefore seeking the donation of Corporate Gifts in kind for its silent auction. A printing services company can prepare a variety of branded items for its customers, which can help to put its name in the public eye.

The 2025 Hammer Down for Homes fundraiser is scheduled for Wednesday, June 25, beginning at 9:00 am. A chance to register or apply to be a sponsor can be found on the Twin Fall Chamber of Commerce’s website.
