Stuart residents looking for a fun way to get outside and support a good cause will want to avoid making plans next month, as a day of friendly competition is on the horizon.
The 2nd Annual Stuart Firefighters Annual Pumper Pull will allow area residents to organize their teams and compete in a series of challenges for a good cause. Teams will need to showcase their strength and critical thinking skills to pull a fire truck across the finish line.
The event offers the opportunity to create memories and be part of the community, whether as a participant or a spectator. Organizers have added a secondary competition to this year’s event, which will pit teams against each other in a bucket brigade challenge. Poster printing is an effective way to use imagery and text to promote such events while providing souvenirs to participants and attendees.
Additional prizes will be awarded to teams representing categories like the Best-Dressed Team, the Most Comical Team, and the Best Team Tent. Teams can consist of five or ten members. Participants will receive complimentary beverages and a Dri-Fit T-shirt to commemorate the event.
The competitions will be held at Frazier Creek Brewing and Distilling Company in Stuart on Saturday, May 10. Check-in starts at 10:30 AM, and registration is $40 per free agent or $175 per team.
