Miami EcoAdventures is offering a guided canoe excursion along the Oleta River this March, which can be found in North Miami Beach.
The event will provide participants with an opportunity to explore one of the region’s waterways. Led by park naturalists, the program will highlight the area’s diverse ecosystems, wildlife habitats, and historical significance.
Attendees will navigate through mangrove forests, observe wading birds and osprey, and may even spot an endangered manatee. The tour is open to adults and children aged nine and older. A registered adult must accompany participants under 15.
Advance enrollment is required, as onsite registration may not be possible. The event will take place in all weather conditions except for severe storms, strong winds, or extreme temperatures. In cases of cancellation, efforts will be made to reschedule or provide refunds.
Admission is $30 per person and the maximum number of participants is 12.
