Davie to celebrate new year with astrology event
The National Council for Geocosmic Research will organize an event in Davie at the H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship.
Dial in the New Year 2025 is an event where people can learn about astrology interpretations from a professional astrologer. The program will teach attendees how to track the progress of solar returns, use 360° charts and 90° dials, and understand when certain natal planets are activated.
The instructor for the course is Kathy Allan, a certified astrologer who has written books such as When Worlds Collide: Another Look at the Lunar Nodes. She also has a degree in Molecular Toxicology.
The National Council for Geocosmic Research is an organization that offers workshops to help people improve their astrological knowledge and meet with others who are interested in the subject. The events held by the council showcase different techniques for reading astrological charts and are led by highly educated speakers, such as Eric Meyers, Bob Mulligan, and Anne Ortelee.
Members of the organization get perks like free webinar access and bi-weekly newsletters.
The program will be on Saturday, January 18 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The workshop will cost $40 for members of the National Council for Geocosmic Research and $55 for non-members.
Ticket sales will open on December 8. Councils that organize similar workshops may bring promotional pens to their events to ensure guests can take notes and leave with branded materials.
