Theater to host Christie stage adaptation

Fort Collins fans of theater, as well as lovers of the novels of Agatha Christie, are in for a treat.

This November and late October, a stage adaptation of Christie's famous mystery novel “Murder On the Orient Express” will be presented in the city.

The original story, which tells of a murder inside a luxury train and the efforts of a skilled detective to find the murderer, is often said to be Christie's greatest literary effort. This, along with the praise given to the adaptation and the experience of the cast, should ensure an entertaining event for everyone.

The play will be performed at the Lincoln Magnolia Theater, which has an address of 417 W. Magnolia St. Each standard performance will start at 7:30 pm on the following dates: October 30, November 5 to 6, November 12 to 14, November 19 to 21, and November 26 to 27. Matinee performances (starting at 2:00 pm) will be on November 14 and 21, while ‘Pay what you want night’ is on November 4. All other performances will cost $27.

OpenStage Theater and Co., which is running the event, has also mentioned that it will be emailing Covid-19 policies and restrictions to its audience members before the show. If necessary, theatergoers can use local Print shops to print out instructions in these situations.
