Art and pottery enthusiasts will want to save space on the calendar next month, as a wheel throwing class will be visiting Fort Collins.
The Mini Wheel Throwing Class will start in a few weeks, and participants of all experience levels are encouraged to attend.
The course is designed to help guests discover and utilize creativity by producing pottery pieces. The experienced course instructors will guide all attendees through the processes and techniques to create finished pottery pieces.
The course will focus on learning to shape clay and using a miniature potter’s wheel to make creations to take home. The event is ideal for attendees seeking a creative outlet with like-minded individuals.
After completing the clay-shaping process, guests will fire their top four or five pieces to take home. Students aged ten and up are welcome to register and participate. Flyer printing can be an excellent and colorful way to announce events like this to the community.
All completed pieces will be ready for pickup one to two weeks after the course’s conclusion. Guests are encouraged to wear appropriate clothing to prevent stains and damage.
Flingin Pots will host the Mini Wheel Throwing Class on Saturday, May 4, beginning at 2:00 PM and ending at 4:00 PM. General admission tickets are $35 per person and are available online.
