Fort Collins hockey fans are in for a show next month when a hockey all-star game and skills competition will be held to spread awareness of a minor hockey league.
The 2024 BWHL All-Star Game and Skills Competition is set to proceed, welcoming hockey fans of all ages to witness the best players in the league display their skills and toughness. The hockey league, comprised of first responders and military veterans from the Brave Warriors Hockey League, will compete against five former and one current professional hockey player.
The pro athletes participating in the game and skills competition include retired Colorado Eagles players like Jay Birnie, Sean Zimmerman, Derek Rodwell, Matt Garbowsky, and Jason Beatty. Recent New York Rangers draft pick and local star Noah Laba will also participate in the festivities. Poster printing is an excellent way to build awareness of the event while displaying sponsor logos and prominent players from the all-star game.
The skills competition will occur first, after which the pros and first responders will team up to play a free-flowing hockey match to delight fans. Registered guests can also win a signed game-worn jersey from one of the pros.
The Edora Pool and Ice Center will host the all-star hockey game on Saturday, September 14th, starting at 3:00 PM and ending at 6:00 PM. General admission is $10 per guest when purchased online.
