Fort Collins to turn local gardens into holiday display

Fort Collins will be returning a whimsical and colorful activity to a local outdoor venue from early to late December.

According to the event’s listing, Garden of Lights is a “Winter Holiday Lights Festival” that showcases both nature and seasonally themed displays. These are crafted with “hundreds of thousands” of colorful and sparkling lights, and the lights are spread over a loop that is half a mile long.

Santa Claus will have his chair set up at the Everitt Pavilion. On select evenings, Mrs. Claus will join her husband to visit with festival goers.

Other entertainment includes carolers, the Sugar Plum Furries Dog Troupe, and a performer using LED lights. A schedule of when each entertainment option will be around is posted on the event’s page located on the city’s government website. A bar will also be open to provide festive and hot beverages.

Tickets can be found using a link on the same page. Members of The Gardens on Spring Creek, which is the venue for the festival, gain access to a 20% reduction in price.

The event is taking place over several weeks. Each night, it will be open to ticket holders from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.

Locally organized events like this often include flyer printing within their promotion techniques.

Attendees can experience the cozy holiday show from December 8th to 23rd, 2023.
